Graduate student wins award for presentation
Kelsey LeavittWSU Puyallup graduate student Andrea Garfinkel received the award for Best Oral Presentation at the 12th International Symposium on Flower Bulbs and Herbaceous Perennials in Kunming, China.
The conference, which is sponsored by the International Society for Horticultural Science, is held every four years and is attended by researchers from around the world. In late June Andrea accompanied her advisor Gary Chastagner and research technologist Annie Debauw to present their research.
