Liz Whitefield

The Animal Ag in a Changing Climate team—a collaborative project which includes WSU Puyallup Research Associate Liz Whitefield—was awarded the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers Blue Ribbon Award for educational materials. The Educational Aids Blue Ribbon Awards Competition, sponsored by EOPD-208 Extension Committee, promotes excellence in informational materials which contribute to the understanding of agricultural and biological engineering subjects outside of the traditional classroom setting. Their web page (http://animalagclimatechange.org/) includes a blog,  short videos, fact sheets, and a free-online course about climate change that has been completed by nearly 100 students.
