Postponed: Rain Garden Workshop

Due to University guidance regarding COVID-19, this event has been postponed. New dates will be announced as they become available.

Join the Pierce County Extension Master Gardeners Program for this fun hands-on workshop and learn how to plan, design, build and maintain a rain garden.

• Learn the basic steps to design a rain garden and resources that are available to assist you in your design.
• Learn the basics of stormwater, watersheds, and hydrology.
• Tour rain gardens and other low impact projects on site.

The workshop is free, however space is limited to 37 participants and registration is required. Call 253-798-7170 or email pierce.mg@wsu.edu to reserve your spot. Participants will received a free Rain Garden Manual. Please bring your own snacks/lunch.
