Machine Harvesting Raspberries

Our machine-harvesting trials are located in Whatcom County and are evaluated multiple times per season. Results from these evaluations are available at our annual Machine Harvesting Field Day held with the cooperating grower. Additionally, we have several advanced selections being tested with cooperating growers on a commercial scale. Fruit from these plantings are also evaluated for processing qualities at commercial processing plants.

The Northwest Berry Foundation issues a regular newsletter with information on berry crop management and industry events, including field days and results from grower trial. Subscribing to the Small Fruit Update is an excellent way to stay informed about breeding program and industry collaborations.
