Cultivar development and genetics of raspberries and strawberries:

  • Breeding fresh/processing strawberries and machine harvestable processing raspberries
  • Studies on Raspberry Bushy Dwarf Virus, Phytophthora root rot, nematodes and verticillium on raspberries
  • Testing markers for selecting for Raspberry Bushy Dwarf Virus resistance
