Biography
Hello and thank you for visiting my profile!
A little about me: I received my Ph.D. in entomology at Texas A&M University (TAMU). Shortly after, I worked for the TAMU AgriLife Extension Service where my job was to train pesticide applicators in structural pests (wood-destroying organisms and general pests in commercial and residential settings).
I was fortunate enough to gain experience in Texas before I moved to the state of Oregon. My tasks were to work with certification and licensing at the state department of agriculture as well as be the lead author on their new general pest manual for OSU Extension.
I am now the senior extension coordinator at WSU PREP where my focus will be on structural pests in commercial and residential settings. I will also assist in teaching the Master Gardeners and create/revise WSU’s PREP courses.
