Some of the projects include nitrogen fate, earthworm casting management, turfgrass water requirements, turfgrass variety evaluation, growth regulation, nutritional balance, and weed, disease, and insect control. As information becomes available from the studies it will be provided below.<\/p>\n<h2>Projects<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Management of Earthworm Casting on Golf Course Fairways\" href=\"http:\/\/puyallup.wsu.edu\/turf\/casting\/\">Limiting Detrimental Earthworm Populations<\/a><br \/>\nAn update of a series of research projects which were initiated in the fall of 1997 designed for the &#8220;<em>Development of an Integrated Management System for Reducing earthworm Casting on Golf Course Fairways<\/em>.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Effects of Nitrogen Fertility and Mowing Heights on Anthracnose Basal Rot Severity in Annual Bluegrass\" href=\"http:\/\/puyallup.wsu.edu\/turf\/anthracnose-basal-rot\/\">Effects of Mowing Heights and Fertility on Anthracnose Basal Rot<\/a><br \/>\nA research update of the project which is funded by the GCSAA, WWGCSA, and OGCSA. Included is an introduction to ABR, purpose of the project, and methods to be used.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Characterization of Leaching at the Coeur d\u2019Alene Golf Course Floating Green\" href=\"http:\/\/puyallup.wsu.edu\/turf\/leaching\/\">Nitrate Monitoring on Golf Greens<\/a><br \/>\nA &#8220;<em>Characterization of Leaching at the Coeur d&#8217;Alene G.C.
