Leave in freezer overnight. Pack gently with tissues or cotton in a stoppered vial. If desired, include sample of damage.<\/li>\n<li>Do not place butterflies, moths, or bees in alcohol, as key diagnostic features will be ruined.<\/li>\n<li>Do not send live insects, crushed insects or insects caught on tape or on sticky traps (as key diagnostic features will be gummed and destroyed).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What information should you provide?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Personal contact information (address, phone, fax, email)<\/li>\n<li>Background information on problem:\n<ul>\n<li>Where are the insect found?<\/li>\n<li>What concerns are associated with the insect?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Completed <a href=\"https:\/\/wpcdn.web.wsu.edu\/wp-puyallup\/uploads\/sites\/408\/2015\/02\/c0495.pdf\">C0495 Insect Identification (pdf)<\/a> form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How much does this service cost?<\/h2>\n<p>There is a base fee of $25.00 for insect identification. Certain tests (if required) may incur additional cost.<\/p>\n<p>We accept payment by cash or check only.
