Digital diagnosis samples may be assessed a fee based on work provided by the diagnostician.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please email <a href=\"mailto:jennyglass@wsu.edu\">jennyglass@wsu.edu<\/a> clear photos of the damaged plant or the insect.<\/li>\n<li>For plant problems, images showing the plant in the landscape often provide additional clues as to the cause of the problem.<\/li>\n<li>Photos showing the base of the plant at the soil line may also be illuminating when trying to determine root issues.<\/li>\n<li>These images should be accompanied by information describing the problem and the plant care (who, what, where, when, why are great questions to explain).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Physical Samples<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Samples can be mailed to <strong>Plant &amp; Insect Diagnotic Lab, WSU Puyallup, 2606 West Pioneer, Puyallup WA 98371<\/strong> or deposited in or near the cooler\/drop box on the south side of Kalkus Hall (three-story brown wood-siding building on upper campus). Please email <a href=\"mailto:jennyglass@wsu.edu\">jennyglass@wsu.edu<\/a> should you drop off a sample. We also provide applicable management options to a numerous state clientele like commercial growers, pest control operators, home gardeners, consultants, county agents, Master Gardeners, and research personnel.<\/p>\n<p>The laboratory is currently equipped to handle samples from Washington State, particularly western Washington State, and not from other areas of the country.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve an accurate diagnosis of the problems, samples should be accompanied by detailed information about the problem.
